In the Gospels Jesus speaks about the kind of relationships his followers are to have with their neighbors. In fact, Jesus went so far as to say we should “love our neighbors as ourselves.” Our neighbors might live on the same street as us or elsewhere in our city. Our neighbor is someone who has a need we can meet.

Our non-food pantry provides clients with personal hygiene products, cleaning supplies, paper goods and other health related items to meet their needs. This is the only such resource in Spokane and unfortunately, we often have to turn away needy clients due to a lack of supplies. A Hand Up Non-Food Pantry has served 1725 family or individual packs in 2016.
Non-Food Pantry Hours
A Hand Up Non-Food Pantry distribution is on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 5:00 pm and the 3rd Saturday at 10:00 am.
KidsZoneThis is a monthly ministry for children held on the first Thursday evening during the school year providing them (and their parents) with a hot meal and opportunity to study the Bible.
The last Saturday of each month, a free breakfast is served to anyone who would like to join us. This is a time of connection with our neighbors and is made possible by the Celebrate Recovery Group from Spokane Valley Church of the Nazarene. Breakfast starts at 8 am and is served in our food pantry room.
